
Guwahati: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) on Tuesday released the class 10th results.
The pass percentage has dropped drastically this year as only 56.49 per cent has finally made it to the merit list. A total of 2,29,131 students cleared the HSLC, Class 10 exam 2022 successfully.
Last year, the pass percentage in the HSLC exam was 93.10 per cent and a total of 3,97,132 had finally made it to the merit list.
As per reports, this year, the boys have performed better in the HSLC exam, the pass percentage of the male students was 58.80 per cent, while the pass percentage of the female students touched 54.49 per cent.
This year, a total of 4.31 lakh (4,31,132) students had enrolled to appear for the SSLC exam 2022 which was conducted from March 15 to 31.
The exam results were announced following exam cancellation and assessments are done on the basis of alternative evaluation criteria.
As per the data, this year the number of students who have got first division is 65,176, while the number who got second division is 99,854. On the other hand, 64,101 students got third division.
